I am a clinician-scientist with 10+ years of genetic counseling and health disparities/ health equity research experience. I earned a Ph.D. in Human Genetics and a specialization in Genetic Counseling from Howard University. Subsequently, I completed a cancer health disparities postdoctoral fellowship at The Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health. I have dedicated my career to ensuring that emerging genetic and genomic resources, services and technologies do not exacerbate health disparities and inequities. My passion for health equity and inclusion of diverse groups is unwavering. Currently, I am a Global Health Equity Strategist and Senior Science Leader at Genentech.
