Sierra Love

I am a PhD Candidate in Genetics at UW-Madison. I am a #FirstGeneration student. I use yeast genetics to study inhibition of SF3B1, a splicing factor that is highly mutated in several human diseases. I also use High Throughput Screening to find novel small molecules that target human splicing machinery that can be used as other theraputic methods for splicing related cancers.
